Go Green Recycling for Yourself! - It's Earth Day. I see bikes everywhere, and people are making extra efforts to be consciously green. When I thought of those areas I could have a different propensity for recycling as a retirement instructor: people.
People-their interests, talents, abilities, and experiences can be used, recycled, and recycled as wooden products. Can you restart? If you're more than 50, I'm 100% positive, yes.
Reduction of unskilled talent
Bob is a retired aerospace engineer at 62 years of age. He left Rajseon 2 years ago and now meets with friends for golf and poker on a regular basis. He's healthy and running a mile every morning. Bob has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Masters in engineering.
Cheryl's a retired teacher. She's in good condition and likes to travel. She taught geography and sometimes beat up French and Spanish teachers because she was almost fluent and loved languages. Now, using the pension of their teachers, Cheryl takes at least three trips each year to visit areas where she has read and taught but never seen.
Reuse of skills and experience
Schools and mentoring Centers throughout the country desperately need teachers and mentors to help children with all levels of mathematics. Bob can work in mathematics and science by involving himself in schools and programs after school in his local area. If he could devote one day a week, it would help change his society. A student who, through Bob, finds the key to understanding fractions or conquering algebraic equations, can be a future aerospace engineer.
Thousands of refugees arrive in the United States every year without any more suitable English commands. Cheryl can reuse her language skills by teaching an English adult in the night school curriculum. She could also carry out a tour of the places where she became more accustomed to retirement. Both require the original talent and experience that Cheryl has accumulated in her life.
Preparing to recycle your abilities
Here's what you can do to prepare for a recycle:
1. Create a list of your abilities, talents, experience-all the skills you have developed and refined in your life.
2. Ask three people who know what else you can add to the list (maybe we do not miss or dismiss the opportunity that may be other US awards)
3. Select the items in the list that you really want to.
4. Scratch a list of things you do not appreciate.
5. Look at your resulting list and name how you can use these talents.
Think of:
· Who can find them valuable?
· Where can I use them?
· How can you use them?
· When can you use them?
Now you have to decide how much you are willing to devote to these efforts. If you're still going to make a living, it's probably going to be limited, and you might have more time.
Everyone knows something they can reuse and restart. The older, the more you know. For me, this is the impersonation of wastes to leave these inactive talents when there is so much need in the world. So go green ... Restart!
